Held open for the hungry shadows
I was already arched and gasping, Kael’s invisible weight pinning my hips to the cold stone while unseen eyes from the circling shadows drank in every slick movement.
My thighs were forced wide and held there, an inexorable pressure hooked behind each knee and wrenching them apart with no hand to grip, no body to brace against—only force, only will, spreading me open and keeping me that way no matter how my muscles twitched. My own fingers dug into the soft flesh above my knees anyway, knuckles white, because his hissed command had ordered them to stay and some drowning part of me needed to obey even where his power had already made the choice for me. “Hold yourself open for them,” he’d breathed, and the voice didn’t come from beside me, didn’t come from any mouth at all—it unspooled low and filthy from somewhere behind my sternum, blooming outward through my ribs, so that the order felt less heard than grown. My palms pressed harder before the thought could even finish forming, useless and obedient at once. Then the first stroke came—not a body, not skin, but a thick column of pressure that surged deep into me, cold at its leading edge and impossibly full, parting me, stretching me around something that had no shape except the shape it chose. The phantom thickness dragged out slow and pushed back in deeper, and the broken cry it tore from my throat cracked against the stone and came echoing back at me, doubled, obscene.
The air plummeted. Sudden frost skated across my bare breasts, hardening my nipples into points that ached with the speed of it, and I felt the shadows lean—not metaphor, a real and pressing nearness, the chamber’s dark thickening at the edges of my vision until it had weight, until it crowded my pinned-open thighs like a held breath. I could hear them now, no question of imagining it: a faint wet shifting, a collective hush of attention that had texture, like cloth dragged over cloth, like a hundred slow inhalations drawn at once. And I wanted them closer. The realization moved through me as a fresh clench around the cold fullness still working inside me, and I rolled my hips up off the stone into the next phantom stroke, deliberately, lewdly, tilting myself against the force that held my knees so the press of him spread me wider, so they could see. Kael’s growl coiled up through my belly, taunting. “Look how many eyes are on that slick cunt. They can see every inch I take.” A cold pulse dropped through me at the words, the air pressure against my skin falling sharp enough to sting, and instead of shrinking from it I arched harder into the display, chasing the next thrust, grinding myself against the invisible weight to give the dark a better view.
The sound of it filled the chamber and I couldn’t stop hearing it—the slick, rhythmic give of my own body taking what had no body, wet and steady and humiliating and mine; my breath catching in stuttered hitches at the top of every stroke; the shadows answering with that low communal shift, leaning, leaning, their attention crawling over my skin like a temperature all its own. Another icy lash swept down the length of my belly, cold tracing where heat boiled beneath, and I understood with a sliding, helpless certainty that I was past the point of choosing this—that I had been past it from the first second, that surrender to him wasn’t a thing I would do but a thing already done, dragging me under like dark water that knew the shape of my throat. So I leaned into the drowning. I moaned for them, louder than I needed to, and felt the pressure inside me thicken in answer—he liked it, he wanted the show too.
Then he stopped feeding me what I needed. The full strokes shortened to shallow, maddening rolls, and a separate point of cold pressure settled over my clit and began to circle—light, relentless, never enough. My whole body strained up toward it and it withdrew by a breath, returned, withdrew again, holding me suspended on the knife’s edge of it. The invisible hooks behind my knees never eased, never let me close even a fraction, and that helplessness wound the ache tighter—I couldn’t have shut my thighs if my life depended on it, couldn’t have hidden a single inch of myself from all those eyes drinking me down. “Stay just like that,” Kael whispered, the words sliding cold and invasive up the back of my throat as if he’d poured them straight down into me. The circling pressure tightened, eased, denied me again, and a thin desperate sound broke out of me. The shadows pressed nearer, the air going dense as held water, their hunger a physical weight bearing down on my exposed skin, and I rocked into nothing, sobbing now, grinding up against a release that hovered just out of reach. “They want to watch you beg,” he breathed. “So beg.” And I did—I heard myself, wrecked and shameless, pleading for the dark to let me finish, straining against the force that held me splayed, offering everything I had left.
“Now come for them.” The order didn’t touch my ear at all; it detonated low in my belly, a command that bypassed every defense and seized the muscle of me directly. The circling pressure clamped down and the full thrust drove deep in the same instant, and my body locked, thighs trembling violently against their invisible restraints as the climax tore loose—a raw scream ripping free of me and flung out into the watching dark. And that was when he changed—not all of him, only the part buried in me, the cold fullness igniting into a solid, scalding length while the rest of him stayed sentient shadow, no torso to crush me, no limbs to cage me, just the dark itself bending close. The phantom pressure rushed molten in a single flood of infernal heat, scorching through every clenching inch, filling me in a way the empty cold never had—corporeal at last, only there, only to claim. The hooks behind my knees released all at once and my legs dropped, collapsing open against the stone, useless. The shadows pulsed once around us, a deep collective sigh that crawled over my slick skin and left it prickling, satisfied. I slumped flat against the cold floor, gasping, but the heat didn’t fade with my pulse—it stayed, settled deep and possessive low in my belly, a brand left burning long after the trembling stopped. The dark didn’t retreat. It folded close and quiet around my limp body, my hands still slack on my own thighs where his power had abandoned them, and I lay there marked, full of his heat, owned, and knew with a calm that should have frightened me that I would be ready to be watched again the moment he wanted it.
