Rival Shifters Tease and Deny
Morgana’s hips rolled hard against Clay’s thigh, the soaked fabric of her underwear dragging rough friction over his jeans with every desperate grind, her breath already coming in short, ragged bursts that fogged the air between them.
Clay’s hands locked tighter on her ass, muscles burning from holding the position too long already, his own pulse hammering as he thrust up to meet her. Sweat slicked their skin where shirts had ridden up, every shift sending sparks through overtaxed nerves, and the thought clawed at him that discovery tomorrow would gut both their careers clean open.
She slowed deliberately, thighs quivering with the effort, denying them both the rhythm that would tip her over. Clay groaned low, the sound vibrating through his chest into hers, his stamina already fraying at the edges from hours of this push and pull. He throbbed behind the strained denim, trapped and aching, but he didn’t let her finish, hands forcing her still until her frustrated whimper filled the room.
Morgana’s fangs grazed his neck without biting, the restraint costing her as much as the denial. For her it wasn’t about endurance the way it was for him — she could feel him counting, rationing, treating his own body like a strategy. She didn’t want to outlast him. She wanted to drag him down to where she already was: the point past control, where the dawn and the agency and the rival packs they were supposed to be tearing each other’s throats out over all dissolved into the single hot inch where their bodies met. Let him think this was a contest. She just wanted him ruined enough to stop pretending he wasn’t already lost. She rocked again, slower, chasing friction that built and built without cresting, feeling his abdominals tighten under her palms in the same exhausted strain.
Clay flipped their positions with the last reserves of shifter strength, both hands clamping her wrists to the floor above her head, his weight pinning her. With his hands fully occupied he had nothing left to work with but his hips, so he used them — grinding the rigid line of him up the soaked seam of her underwear in long, deliberate drags through the rasp of his fly, the fabric bunching and shifting between them with each roll. Breathing turned to pants, the muscles in his back trembling visibly now, but he stopped short again when she fluttered too close, holding himself flush and motionless to watch her writhe and curse under him.
She bucked, trying to steal the friction he’d stolen from her. He pressed down harder, dead weight, letting her wear herself out against him until the fight bled out of her legs. Only when she went slack with a broken sound did he start again — one slow, punishing drag, then a second, feeling her climb, watching her chin tip back and her throat work. The instant her hips started that telltale stutter he wrenched his pelvis back off her, the denim dragging cold away from her, though his hands stayed locked iron-tight around her wrists. Her whole body lurched up off the floor chasing nothing. He ached at the loss, jaw clenched so tight it hurt, thighs shaking with the cost of the denial he was inflicting on them both. Three edges in, maybe four — he’d lost count somewhere in the last hour — and he wasn’t sure anymore whether he was edging her or just barely surviving himself.
It was Morgana who ended it. She twisted under his grip, but her hands stayed pinned, so she did the only thing left — hooked her own thigh up, caught her ruined underwear on her wrist where his fingers crushed it, and worked the elastic down her hip in furious jerks until it tore at the seam, then kicked the wrecked scrap off her ankle. “Stop counting,” she rasped against his mouth. He freed one hand to wrench his fly open and shove the denim down off his hips, the head of him catching slick against her bare, exposed heat, and there was nothing left to stack behind.
When Clay finally drove into her, the thrust was brutal and deep, no more barriers. Morgana’s climax tore through her overtaxed muscles all at once, her thighs seizing rigid, her cunt clamping down around him in hard violent spasms that wrung slick out between them in pulses, her spine arching off the floor as her whole frame jerked and wouldn’t stop. He fucked through the clenching without mercy. “We don’t have until dawn,” she got out between aftershocks, and he answered by going harder, as if he could outrun the morning inside her.
Clay followed seconds later, his release breaking loose messy and uncontrolled, hips stuttering as he flooded her and overflowed, muscles locking then collapsing in heavy tremors that left him gasping against her throat.
They came apart slowly, peeling sweat-stuck skin from skin, then rolled to the floor side by side, both of them wrecked and leaking and gulping air, flat on their backs with nothing left bracing them. The room fell to the sound of their joint exhale, loud and unguarded, every defense they’d held for hours sliding off at once with the slack weight of their bodies — too spent to brace, too spent to lie, the sigh of two people who had nowhere outside these walls that asked nothing of them.
